Development in this subdivision started around 2010 and has been a steady process since. Today, there are a few undeveloped lots. In Summer 2023, one lot sold in this neighbourhood for around $130,000.

When it started development, the guideline behind this development was sustainability. Guiding the project was Randall Arendt, world renowned landscape planner, author, and lecturer.

Strawberry Hill is set high on the hill above Tea Hill Park and Beach. Most properties feature a lovely view of the Northumberland Straight below and you can sit and watch the cruise ships come through during the summer months. Also, as a mom, I love neighbourhoods where there is no thru-traffic. This neighbourhood has 1 way in and out which means that all traffic is there with intent.

Stratford itself has seen significant growth in the past 2 decades. With more amenities being offered to the residents, as well as continued growth with the Stratford Community Campus being planned for development over the next 10 years. (see link for more details about that project)
