5 Restaurants I do take my kiddos to (2026 edition)
It is March 2026 - the kiddos are now 5, 7 & 8 and we have started eating out a bit more. This means that we can actually take them out to restaurants and not totally regret all life’s choices within 20 minutes of sitting down at the table. So where do we go when we are deciding what we want to eat???
Ta Ke Sushi - Okay - maybe this makes the kids are a bit strange but they do love going out for sushi. We start with an order to tempura and edamame and then order a sushi and maki platter “c” with an additional roll or 2. Our middle kid doesn’t love love LOVE sushi like the other two so we usually add in a boring veggie roll of something that he wants, like a cucumber roll.
Sam’s Restaurant - the other most requested option for the kids as we can get fish and chips, burgers, pizza, breakfast - all the options. Everyone gets to pick their options.
Stratford Pizza Corner - thank goodness Stratford Pizza Corner is no longer just in Stratford. When we are ordering pizza, we get it from here. I love the Tusacan pizza and we ususally get a Canadian pizza for the kids.
I asked my broker where he takes his three kids when he’s in Charlottetown and they always go to Montana’s. Strangely, I don’t know if I have EVER eaten at a Montana’s but maybe we will have to give that a try??
And last but not least - BOOMBURGER. My favourite. It always has been and probably always will be. Need I say more.
